Work No.108: Liquid Landscapes (2015) – Red Dragon, Borescopic Lens, 4K Lighting Rig, Spirits, Glassware. 4K / Output. *Commercial project: Private Collection.

The concept intended to create an unobtrusive abstract landscape of liquids and act as living wallpaper in the company's Bar Alchemy and foyer screen spaces, to relate to both the product environment and offer understated content that mimics the tangable qualities in each liquid.

Liquid Landscapes was created in a series using borescopic camera technology to capture liquid in macro detail and at an increased frame rate to allow for accentuated close-ups that move at a slower speed.

The ‘sublunary sphere’, a concept derived from Greek Astronomy of the four main elements and the realm of ever changing nature, the region of æther (ether), a chemical conception defined by Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeleev a Chemist who had ideas on the nature of indefinite compounds as solutions was born. Partly hypothetical, subtly anarchic, and wholly introspective. A single point of transition from dictation to reinvention has captivated the dialogue and directed the development in this work.
